A large family garden designed around traditional materials. This garden has many features including a large lawn, seating for 16 – 20, a childrens play area, fire “snug” area, 2.5m high x 1.5m slate water wall and a separate terrace to take advantage of the morning sun.

Grand Designs Finalist (with Kevin McCloud)

Here is the garden that won us a spot at the Grand Designs show. 

The aim of the garden was to demonstrate simplicity in the garden. With just 3 species of plants and grey water recyling it won special praise from the man himself, Kevin McCloud.

Completed in 2015, this garden design is a break from the traditional.

The garden was designed on a 45 degree axis enabling all of the clients brief to be fitted together in a visually pleasing way whilst maximising the space available.

This town garden was transformed from an unusable, unattractive space intoa garden with many areas of enjoyment. A stunning slate water feature, lounging area and formal seating area all lend to this garden being somewhere to sit, relax and enjoy the summer months.

Garden Design for Entertaining & BBQs – Barnes

Scott Lawrence Garden Design were contacted to provide a new garden design for this property in Barnes SW13.

The client brief was to include separate areas for the BBQ and morning coffee. A second area for evening relaxation with a glass of wine etc. All in a 12m long garden.

Wandsworth Modern Garden Design

This garden design echoes the modern interior of the house. Huge bi folding doors expand the space into this small, split level garden.

Water Illusion Design – Wandsworth

This was a very interesting garden to design in Wandsworth due to its many changes of level.

Working with these levels,  different areas of the garden for dining and relaxation were created. Thus adding interest and the illusion of space.

The use of water in different forms added to the drama of the finished stunning garden.

The clients of this Penthouse apartment wished to transform a large, dull, paved area into one of colour, foliage, texture and interest.

The design faced many challenges owing to its location. But, the end result speaks for itself.
