I want a new garden but why should I get it designed?

Having a garden professionally redesigned will give you a garden that is both visually appealing, functional and catered to your own individual taste. A professional, to scale design drawing will also pay for itself, having a drawing to scale will enable accurate landscaping quotations to be produced without the risk of any costly material overuns.

How much does a garden design cost?

Every garden is different in size, has different challenges and varies in client needs, as such it is impossible to give an exact amount cost for design drawings but prices start from £500.00

What is included in the design cost?

There are no hidden extras in the garden design quotation. Once formally agreed this is the price you will pay for the drawing. Included is the initial survery, concept board, final colour design and construction drawing if relevant. Occasionally when designing a garden that is on different levels it may be necessary to include elevation drawings, this will be quoted for at the initial stage.

How long does a new garden design drawing take?

A new garden design will take approx 4 weeks from initial meeting to final drawing presentation.

What is the design process?

After the initial meeting to discuss your requirements for the new garden a quotation will be produced. Once agreed upon a survey will take place and the design stage will stage. After approx 2 weeks a draft outline drawing and concept board will be ready for discussion. If all is agreed the final drawing will be produced and ready in approx 2 weeks.

Can you design a contemporary garden?

We can design your garden in any style you choose. Contemporary, family, formal, informal etc.

Who builds it when the redesign drawing is completed?

We can build it or arrange a suitable landscaper. As you now have the final garden design drawing you are also free to choose your own landscaper. Drawings are produced "in scale" so any competant landscaper can work from them.

I do not want a full design, can you redesign single sections?

Sometimes gardens do not need a complete re-design. We can re-design any part of your garden, still following the same design principles used in a full garden design so that when finished it all works and fits together.
