Garden Design Barnes – Kerb Appeal

Located just by Barnes Pond, Scott Lawrence Garden design were contacted to put together a redesign for the clients front garden.

The brief for this garden design in Barnes SW13 was to include the rebuilding of boundary wall & railings, design in a modern style, unit for bin and recycling storage, planting to be modern, evergreen but with seasonal splashes of colour.

The Design

The new front garden design was laid out to an asymmetrical style to harmonise with the surrounding architecture. A new rendered front boundary wall  was constructed and fitted with powder coated railings together with a secure, lockable front gate.

Existing english stock bricks were recycled to use as the central paved area and a new black limestone path leading to the front entrance.

The planting features a new Pittosporum evergreen hedge which can be tightly clipped when established for a formal look. Evergreen Phormiums and a centrally planted Olive tree provide structure, height and year round colour. Seasonal splashes of colour are provided by planting of roses and white flowering lavender.
