Garden DesignScott Lawrence Garden Design specialises in the creation of beautiful town gardens. From cool contemporary to hot Mediterranean, we design spaces that will harmonise with the property and surrounding area. The aim - to create an "outdoor room" for the longer summer season and to enjoy at its best throughout the year. We design fully functional gardens to meet your needs and budget.
Garden Design Process:Initial Design ConsultationAn informal discussion between client and designer at the proposed site. A chance to briefly view the garden and discuss ideas. To find out whether the project suits both parties. Client BriefA more formal meeting to discuss your preferences; what you expect from your garden. It is our chance to sit down and talk about what you like and dislike, your particular styles and tastes e.g. formal, informal, contemporary, features etc. This will form the basis of the project plan and design. QuotationFrom the client brief we can then provide a quotation based on the features required. The SurveyUpon agreement of the quotation a detailed survey will be carried out. The Outline PlanOnce the brief and survey are complete a function plan is drawn up. At this stage it is a scale drawing of the proposed design (in pencil) and not highly detailed for the client to peruse with the designer and make any necessary changes. The DesignOnce the outline plan has been agreed upon the formal design is produced. This drawing is to scale which will include the list of materials used and any relevant construction drawings for landscaper to work from be it ourselves or a 3rd party.
